Sand/Cement traditional mortar MAGNUS Tile adhesive
Weak bonding strength High power bonding strength, five times more than cement and mortar.
Tile needed to be wet before application. Dry Tiles can be fixed, no soaking required and no mess.
This required thick bedding approx. 15-40 mm that’s why it contains extra weight on structure. MAGNUS can apply thin bedding approx. 3 mm to 6 mm that’s why it can reduce weight on structure.
This traditional method has shrinking properties MAGNUS adhesive is 5 times more flexible ,so it is anti-shrinking
Limited use, cannot use as tile on tile. MAGNUS use: universal strong bond on all type of concrete and ceramic surface.
Curing required after fixing tiles which is not practically possible MAGNUS adhesive contain high quality of polymers so it is self-curing material.

MAGNOPOXY

    Magnopoxy grout is a three-part general purpose water clean-up epoxy system for grouting most types of Stones and tiles, which require high strength, impact strength, chemical strength and bacteria free hygienic environment. It consists of epoxy resin, epoxy hardener and selected colored fillers

    Surface Preparation

    The surface which is to be grouted should be cleaned, free from all traces of oil, grease.

    Before commencing grouting, ensure that the adhesive is set. Clean the joints, free of all adhesive.

    First of all, mix Part A and Part B in a suitable clean container and mix properly. It is recommended to use slow speed mixing to get a good consistency and then slowly add the required part amount of Part C (color filler) and mix until a uniform color achieve and then immediately pour the mix grout into the working area.

    Application

    Apply MAGNOPOXY to a few tiles in small trial area.

  • Use a hard rubber grout float, compact the MAGNOPOXY into the joints ensure that they are completely filled. Work in small areas and remove excess epoxy grout from the tile surface as much as possible. Strike off excess materials diagonally to the grout lines.
  • Within 20 minute of mixing, clean off surplus grout. Use a scrubber dampened with clean water to break down (emulsification) the grout residue. Use a circular motion and keep the scrubber flat relative to the tile surface to achieve a flush joint. Do not allow water to flow/run into ungrouted joints.
  • Clean off the emulsified epoxy /water residue with a fine sponge, taking care not to drag grouts from the joints. Clean diagonally to the grout lines
  • Surplus material must be removed from the face of the tiles before it sets
  • Tiles should be fixed within the specified open time as per the technical data sheet of adhesive being applied.
